Want To Play Tech Deck

V International Birdwatching in Guatemala

Este pasado fin de semana se celebró el V Encuentro Internacional de Aviturismo en la Finca el Pilar, Antigua Guatemala. There were hands-on educational for children taught by Defensores de la Naturaleza (NGO in charge of the administration of Bocas del Polochic, Sierra del Lacandon, United Nations and the Sierra de las Minas). Then, Arcas gave a talk which showed a scarlet macaw (There are only 150 individuals in the Peten! In the last three years was reduced to half the population) and a mazacuata (non-poisonous snake, common in several regions of Guatemala .) My children attended ... and was surprised when the next day, the highest premiums would tell a story about the talk (as birds are important seed dispersers).
There was an exhibition of very pretty pictures of birds, some of Roberto Quezada, Jose Yee, etc. The last talk of the evening was about blogging, for Sharon Bird Chick Blog. Thanks Sharon, inspired me to open mine!
