Watch Korean Cheaters

Copan House Easter in Guatemala

And since not everything is to study and work have allowed us spend a few days in Guatemala, a country but close (the border is 12 km) but very different in customs and especially in color. Together with Cesar and Golda (Honduran friends) we left direction Former major tourist attractions in Guatemala.

charged Easter traditions, with the typical processions full of people and different worlds, all with camera in hand trying to take pictures inneditas

(Jose Luis safe here have enjoyed muchiiisimo)

The most impressive was how long they were the steps .... and especially when it came to a cross they had to take a walk .... Anyway to those who know the Holy Week if Sevilla do not impress them much ..

Thousands thousands of penitents throughout ancient ... San fermines but seemed almost to purple ...

ah! and women also had their footsteps ... them in black and white ...

corner full of contrasts,

And always remember the good humor.

In many cities in Guatemala is typical decorating the streets with layers of sand and all kinds of decorative arrangements ... from leaves of pineapple as this carpet to fruits and vegetables ... events all day, even overnight in the case of Good Friday.

precionsas sand blankets on the ground where the procession will then

On Monday we could still make another tour of Antigua and get some brilliant photos like this. Maybe

not appreciate a lot ... but those lights you see in the background is the lava of the volcano Pacaya. Today still seething.

the buses as in Honduras, but all Painted in colors. It is the country of anger.

ah! Moto-taxis and these are as we have in Copan

And we Chichicastenango ... IF THAT IS A CONTRAST after another ... no words to describe the explosion of colors and feelings

This market taken from above inspired many painters (you see other photos below)

A lot of lives full of life

give me a quetzal!

We
Chichi at the crest of the wave as Cesar says. The day that Christ passed from one church to another ... in a procession through the middle market. Faith, tradition, customs, colors, curiosity, effort, business, workers, dressed ...
all in a collage

And we arrived at Lake Atitlan .... We spent the night in San Marcos at a small hotel ... dream ... the site and the price

Lake Atitlan is at the foot of two volcanoes ...
And we got to San Juan and met Angelina and her husband ...¿? I do not remember. she invented (depending on your version) of the tables birseye market ... The truth is that we stay clear if it was she who invented it but we liked it so much we bought one ...

And we were in the washing of feet in the village of San Pedro

As you can see in this town the garments are colored squares ... Here each village has its fabrics ...
And finally back to Antigua with Chus (friend of Cesar), her husband and their two lovely Inmer daughters super deluxe welcomed us at his home in Antigua. A photo to remember from the "Tibidabo" in Antigua. Without them, our trip would not have been what same.
FAMILY THANK YOU!
